Wonder Wednesday Storytime and Art Project- Creating Community

All summer children, parents and caregivers from the Bethany community gathered at Wonder Wednesday Storytime and Art Project at St. Gabriel Episcopal School/Church, sponsored by the Yew Life Center. We explored books and art about gardens, 4th of July, building and architecture, Native American tales, dreams, dots, rainbows, and being yourself. This was a free, drop-in weekly literacy event focused towards  toddlers, preschoolers and kindergarteners but older children came and enjoyed the activities as well. After story and art time, we played on our Reggio Emilia-inspired playground together. Incoming St. Gabriel Episcopal School students were able to become familiar with the building layout, teachers and classrooms. Thanks to all who came and played with us this summer!
